Buoy and Oyster is an independent, family owned restaurant
and cocktail bar set in a Grade II listed building over looking the
beach in Margate, Kent.
Ideally located a stone’s throw from the
Turner Contemporary and Dreamland and with stunning views
across the bay;
Whether you are dining inside the restaurant or
outside on the terrace overlooking the beach, it is the perfect
location to enjoy the stunning views and beautiful Margate
sunsets in a relaxed and stylish setting.
For lunch it has relaxed seating in the bar area and, in warmer
weather, the terrace and delightful gardens provide guests with
an al fresco dining experience. The sumptuously decorated
restaurant offers a more formal choice of modern English and
seasons there is always something new to try when visiting and
their extensive menu offers a wide range of options for both
seafood or meat lovers.
Seaside classics such as fish and chips and mussels are nestled
next to more adventurous choices such as mojito cured halibut,
brasied beef cheek with oyster stout sauce or a 16oz Rose veal
T-bone.
Every Sunday a traditional roast dinner is offered alongside
the full menu and with live music nights on the first and third
